Anytime you mention the names Scott Adkins and IsaacFlorentine in the same breath, you have my undivided attention. Whenever the
two team up, like with Ninja: Shadow of a Tear, it’s a
monumental occasion, but when it’s for Boyka: Undisputed,
their third Undisputed film (the fourth overall), well
goddamn, I get fully stoked. It’s only 14-seconds, but Adkins dropped a new teaser trailer, and it’s awesome. Check it out after the jump.
A full trailer will drop in January, and while I’m pumped
for that, Adkins, one of the premiere cinematic badasses currently working on
planet Earth, kicks enough people in the face that this will tide me over until
we get more.
Here’s a synopsis:
In the fourth installment of the fighting franchise, Yuri Boyka is shooting for the big leagues when an accidental death in the ring makes him question everything he stands for. When he finds out the wife of the man he accidentally killed is in trouble, Boyka offers to fight in a series of impossible battles to free her from a life of servitude.
There’s no hard and fast release date for Boyka:
Undipsuted just yet, but expect it to hit Blu-ray, DVD, and VOD
sometime in 2016.
