This 'Spectre' Trailer Is All Kinds Of Awesome

At this stage, I’m always going to get excited for a new James Bond movie. That’s just a fact of life I’ve grown accustomed to over the years. And it’s easy when they do things like drop this incredible trailer for the next installment, Spectre. Seriously, just watch it and try to keep your pulse under control, it’s no easy task, this shit is rad.

Quantum of Solace may have been meh, but with Casino Royale and Skyfall, Daniel Craig has proven himself to be an admirable Bond. Not only does he have the suave, sophisticated man of international intrigue bit down, he also brought something new to the character, playing him gritty and borderline sociopathic (read: realistic).

Spectre introduces the titular group of evildoers, give Bond a chilling nemesis (Christoph Waltz), a massive henchman to battle (Dave Bautista), and a ton of lovely ladies (Monica Bellucci, Lea Seydoux, Naomie Harris, and Stephanie Sigman). There’s action and espionage, car chases and gun battles, and everything you want out of a James Bond movie.

Here’s the actual synopsis:

A cryptic message from the past sends James Bond on a rogue mission to Mexico City and eventually Rome, where he meets Lucia Sciarra (Monica Bellucci), the beautiful and forbidden widow of an infamous criminal. Bond infiltrates a secret meeting and uncovers the existence of the sinister organisation known as SPECTRE.

Meanwhile back in London, Max Denbigh (Andrew Scott), the new head of the Centre for National Security, questions Bond’s actions and challenges the relevance of MI6, led by M (Ralph Fiennes). Bond covertly enlists Moneypenny (Naomie Harris) and Q (Ben Whishaw) to help him seek out Madeleine Swann (Léa Seydoux), the daughter of his old nemesis Mr. White (Jesper Christensen), who may hold the clue to untangling the web of SPECTRE. As the daughter of an assassin, she understands Bond in a way most others cannot.

Spectre hits theaters in the U.K. on October 26 and touches down on U.S. shores on November 6. I can’t wait. Check out the trailer for yourself below.
