Well, this is damn creepy. Following in the footsteps of
indie genre films like It Follows (which I like a great
deal) and The Babadook (which I dislike a great deal—I’m one
of the few, however), Austrian horror flick Goodnight Mommy,
gathered buzz on the festival circuit as it builds up to a wider release.
That’s almost upon us, and Radius just delivered this tense, unsettling new
trailer. Take a look after the jump.

Watch 'The Knick' Season 2 Trailer, It Has Old-Timey Surgery And Quarantines
If you haven’t been watching The Knick on
Cinemax—I know, who has Cinemax?—you should find a way to do so immediately. It’s
easily one of the best new shows of last season, and though we’re still a few
months off, there’s an ominous new teaser trailer for season 2. Check it out
below.

'Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation' Movie Review
Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation, the
latest in the Tom Cruise-starring franchise, starts off fast, sets its hooks,
and hurtles you forward. The continually escalating mayhem propels the film
past any of the otherwise glaring plot holes, and the action is fast and
chaotic enough to gloss over how ludicrous the plot actually is. Full of big,
boisterous action, one of Hollywood’s biggest superstars, and crazy-ass stunts,
Rogue Nation is a damn entertaining ride.
'The Walking Dead' Season 6 Photos Introduce Characters From The Comics
Over the years I’ve had a trouble relationship with AMC’s mega
hit zombie drama The Walking Dead, to say the least. I’ve
been a huge fan of Robert Kirkman’s comics since day one, but season 3 sucked so bad I almost stopped watching. But they righted the ship, especially
starting with the second half of season 4, and I’m actually looking forward
to the upcoming season 6. That said, some details have emerged, as well as
photos of new characters.
'Tremors 5: Bloodlines' Trailer Takes The Graboids And Ass-Blasters To Africa
A few years back, I spent Christmas Day watching all four of
the Tremors movies, as well as most of the short-lived series.
It’s safe to say that I’m a fan, and as such, you’re damn right I’m pumped up
for Tremors 5: Bloodlines. If you’re not, check out this new
trailer and you will be.

Syfy Greenlights 'Death Race 2000' Style Throwback 'Blood Drive'
Anytime Syfy greenlights an awesome sounding TV show, I have
to take it with a grain of salt. They don’t have the greatest track record of
late. The Expanse is based on one of the best sci-fi books
I’ve read in recent years, so I’m trying to be optimistic. And now they’ve
given the go ahead to another promising series, Blood Drive,
a ‘70s-inspired, grindhouse-esque show about a badass car race.

New 'Sicario' Trailer Gets Grim, Denis Villenueve's Latest Will Debut At TIFF
Denis Villenueve’s (Prisoners) Sicario is one we’re
definitely stoked for, and it was just announced that it will make it’s North
American debut at the Toronto International Film Festival in early September (yet another year I wish I was going to TIFF).
To go along with that bit of news, they dropped a grim, tense new trailer for
what looks like a grim, tense movie. Check it out below.

'Mad Max: Fury Road' Blu-Ray Trailer Asks Who Killed The World
You may or may not have noticed, but Mad Max: Fury Road is one of my favorite movies of the year—maybe number one,
easily top five (and I hate ranking movies). After tear-assing through theaters
worldwide, it’s getting ready to wreak havoc on home video, and to mark the
occasion, Warner Bros. released this new Blu-ray trailer.

'Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials' Cranks Out A Chaotic New Trailer
It may not be as good, overall, as The Hunger Games, but the first installment of The Maze Runner series is entertaining, if a little light, and a damn sight
better than either of the Divergent movies. The second
chapter, Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials is on its way later
this year, and they just dropped and action-heavy new trailer. I’m not going to
like, it looks a little like Terminator meets The
Goonies. Check it out below.
'The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2' Trailer Is Finally Here, And It's Badass
It’s been a few years and a bumpy ride for heroine Katniss
Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence), but the dystopian teen phenomenon finally wraps
up later this year when The Hunger Games: Mockingjay—Part 2
storms theaters like a horde of rebels attacking a fictional city. Just in case
you forgot how intense this is going to be, this new trailer reminds you of
just that.
'Southpaw' Movie Review
If you know anything at all about the movie going into
Southpaw, you know precisely what you’re going to see. This
is a paint-by-numbers redemptive sports saga from the opening scene, and though
star Jake Gyllenhaal gives yet another fantastic performance as boxer Billy
Hope (yes, the protagonist’s name is Billy Hope in case you were expecting any
subtlety at all), a pugilist bruised both physically and emotionally, he can’t
elevate the rote story.

This 'Spectre' Trailer Is All Kinds Of Awesome
At this stage, I’m always going to get excited for a new
James Bond movie. That’s just a fact of life I’ve grown accustomed to over the
years. And it’s easy when they do things like drop this incredible trailer for
the next installment, Spectre. Seriously, just watch it and
try to keep your pulse under control, it’s no easy task, this shit is rad.

'Star Wars' Meets 'Mad Max: Fury Road' In One Incredible Video
As you may know, Mad Max: Fury Road is
one of my favorite movies of 2015. Star Wars: The Force Awakens is one of my most anticipated movies of 2015. What happens
when you put them together? Well, it looks an awful lot like this awesome new
video that mashes them together. You may be surprised by just how well the two
fit with one another.
This 'Turbo Kid' Poster Is Insane And Awesome
Easily one of the most entertaining movies I’ve seen so far
this year is the post-apocalyptic Turbo Kid. After debuting
at Sundance it finally has a release date and just got an awesome new poster
that totally captures the madness, mayhem, and fun of the movie. Take a look
after the jump.

Watch Jake Gyllenhaal Train To Kick Your Ass In This 'Southpaw' Video
So far, early reviews on Jake Gyllenhaal’s boxing drama
Southpaw have been mixed, but I tend to like both movies
where the on-a-roll actor goes through an intense physical transformation
(Nightcrawler) and the rather workmanlike films of director
Antoine Fuqua (The Equalizer), so I’m totally game. Check
out this featurette of just how far both men went to make sure the in-the-ring
action looks legit.
Goddamn 'The Revenant' Trailer Is Stunning
The Revenant, not to be confused with the
recent horror-comedy of the same name, has prestige written all over it. Last
year’s Oscar-winner Alejandro G. Iñárritu (Birdman) is back,
the film stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Tom Hardy, and was lensed by all-star DP
Emmanuel Lubezki (Gravity, Children of
Men, and too many to name). But it also looks fucking awesome, a fact
clearly on display in the first teaser trailer.

The Latest 'Ant-Man' Clip Changes Your Action Expectations
In Marvel’s upcoming Ant-Man, one of the
coolest things we’ve seen thus far are the shots of the titular hero, all
miniaturized, running around small things as if they were normal size. Fighting
Yellowjacket on that toy train track is what comes to mind, but this latest
clip shows him running through a tiny model of a city as it explodes around
him.

Your First Look At Scott Adkins In 'Boyka: Undisputed IV'
If you’re up on the current state of badass cinema, you’re
well aware that the Scott Adkins-fronted Undisputed series
is one of the high watermarks. They’re everything you want out of tough, old
school action films. Boyka: Undisputed IV is now filming, and we’ve got your first look.

Here's Your First Look At 'Suicide Squad,' It's Awesome
Comic-Con is the gift that keeps on giving. We saw the new
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice trailer, that
Star Wars: The Force Awakens reel, and
Deadpool footage, all of which looks rad. (The
X-Men: Apocalypse stuff hasn’t been unveiled online just yet,
but we’re waiting.) But now the first look at David Ayer’s Suicide
Squad just hit the web, and it is fucking awesome.

Check Out The New 'Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice' Trailer
As a director, Zack Snyder is hit and miss for me, but the
more we see and hear, the more intrigued I am about his upcoming superhero dual
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. At San Diego Comic-Con
this weekend, Warner Bros. dropped a shiny new trailer, and I have to admit, it
looks pretty badass.

Watch The 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' Reel From Comic-Con
As guarded as I’ve been about new StarWars (the Special Editions are problematic, and I
know there are defenders out there, but the prequels are fucking garbage), I
can’t help but get giddy about Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
Director J.J. Abrams and Lucasfilm are saying all the things I want to hear,
and, more importantly, they’re doing all of the right things. Take this behind
the scenes video they debuted at San Diego Comic-Con last night.
This 'Ash Vs. Evil Dead' Trailer Is Absolutely Perfect
Knowing that Bruce Campbell and Sam Raimi were both coming
back, you can bet we were already excited for Ash vs. Evil Dead, the upcoming series revival on Starz. But holy hell, you have
no idea how incredibly stoked we are after watching this first trailer that
debuted at San Diego Comic-Con. Holy shit. There are no words, just watch it
for yourself after the jump.

'Star Wars: Episode 9' May Have A Director
Colin Trevorrow has said, recently, that he’s not going to
direct a Star Wars movie, that after working on
Jurassic World, part of an extant franchise as well as a
huge step up in production scale than his only other feature, SafetyNot Guaranteed, he wants to do something personal and original. But
as we’ve learned time and time again, never say never, and according to one
report at least, he just got the job directing Star Wars: Episode
IX.

This Awesome 'Dude Bro Party Massacre 3' Clip Makes You Wish Parts 1 And 2 Were Real
Dude Bro Party Massacre 3 is available to
the general public as of this week. I haven’t had a chance to watch it yet
because this week is doing its level best to kill me, though hopefully I’ll get
to it next week—it’s getting strong reviews from places whose opinion I trust.
And if I needed another reason to be stoked about this horror send up, the
maniacs behind this ridiculous feature film released an awesome new clip.
'The Gallows' Movie Review
Don’t go see The Gallows, please. As
someone who passionately, deeply loves movies, especially horror movies, and
laments that not nearly enough genre offerings actually land a theatrical
release, I beg of you, please don’t go see The Gallows. It
will only encourage people to churn out lazy, worthless crap like this. Just
because you can crank out a movie quick and on the cheap, and it will make
money, that doesn’t mean you should.

This 'Bridge Of Spies' Trailer Is Great
Steven Spielberg, Tom Hanks, and Alan Alda, all working from
a script by the Coen Brothers? Bridge of Spies, you already
had our attention. Releasing a great new UK trailer like this doesn’t hurt
matters either. A Cold War spy thriller based on real life events, what’s not
to love? Take a look after the jump.
The Full Slate Of 'Star Wars' Films Revealed
Yesterday’s big announcement that Phil Lord and ChrisMiller, the duo behind The Lego Movie and 21 JumpStreet, are making a movie about a young Han Solo movie is enough to
keep Star Wars fans busy for a while, but that’s not all
we’re going to get. With San Diego Comic-Con this week, and Lucasfilm’s
presence, we knew more was on the way, and now some has leaked out ahead of
schedule, namely an image showing the entire upcoming Star
Wars slate.

Thor Is Getting A New Movie, But Not The Thor You're Thinking Of
The muscly, blond-haired Thor is getting another movie, but
I can almost guarantee it’s not the Thor you’re thinking
about (okay, that Thor is also getting another movie, Marvel’s Thor:
Ranarok, but that’s a topic for another time). In this instance,
however, we’re talking about the incredible rocker Jon Mikl Thor, a heavy metal
thunder god and the star of the classic Rock and Roll
Nightmare.

'Wet Hot American Summer: First Day Of Camp' Trailer Leads With The Crotch
It needs to hurry the hell up and be July 31 already.
Netflix just released a new trailer for Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp, the eight episode prequel to the 2001 cult classic, and
it’ll make you wish you could watch these new chapters today.

'London Has Fallen' Trailer Blows The Holy Hell Out Of The U.K.
If you’re surprised that the 2013 Whitehouse-under-siege
actioner Olympus Has Fallen is getting a sequel, you’re not
alone, but that doesn’t mean London Has Fallen isn’t
happening. The Gerard Butler-starring follow up recently got delayed and pushed
to a less-than-optimal release date, but it still sounds right up our alley, a
point driven home by this quick new teaser trailer.
The First 'Creed' Trailer Is Intense And Powerful
The last time star Michael B. Jordan and director Ryan
Coogler got together we got Fruitvale Station, and now we’re
getting Creed, which appears to be a little bit spinoff, a
little bit sequel to Rocky Balboa, which is something I’ll
always watch and be excited about. Dropping later this fall, the film just
released its first trailer, and it looks fantastic.
