It just really needs to go right ahead and be May 15
already. Or at least I just need to sleep from now until Furious 7 on April 7, from then until Avengers: Age of Ultron
on May 1, and then until. Mad Max: Fury Road hits on May 1.
After that I can stay awake for a while. Although, after watching this new
international Fury Road trailer, sleep maybe hard, as this
is like your adrenal glands just got kicked in the nuts.
Crazy post-apocalyptic battlewagons, gnarly post-apocalyptic
dudes, fire, explosions, a giant storm, epic music, I can’t think of anything
else I can possibly ask from a single movie. Here’s the synopsis:
An apocalyptic story set in the furthest reaches of our planet, in a stark desert landscape where humanity is broken, and almost everyone is crazed fighting for the necessities of life. Within this world exist two rebels on the run who just might be able to restore order. There's Max (Tom Hardy), a man of action and a man of few words, who seeks peace of mind following the loss of his wife and child in the aftermath of the chaos. And Furiosa (Charlize Theron), a woman of action and a woman who believes her path to survival may be achieved if she can make it across the desert back to her childhood homeland.
Unless some vengeful god steps in and destroys every print
of this film, which, given its history, is certainly a possibility,
Mad Max: Fury Road opens May 15. Check out the Japanese
trailer below. There’s even a touch of new footage, just for you.
I've been fully stoked for Fury Road since last year's Comic-Con teaser
