There aren’t even words to describe the Furious7 spot that premiered during the Super Bowl yesterday, there just
aren’t. A car jumps from inside one building (I don’t know how it got there,
and I don’t particularly care), lands in another building, and then falls out
the other side of building number two. It’s like they came up to me and said,
“Hey, what’s the one thing you’ve always wanted to see in a
movie?” And when I told them, they took that and amplified it exponentially.
Yes, please.
I have nothing else to add that you won’t see in the spot
below. They’ve somehow transcended the laws of physics, reality, and logic, and
I couldn’t be more excited.
Here’s the synopsis:
Continuing the global exploits in the unstoppable franchise built on speed, Vin Diesel, Paul Walker and Dwayne Johnson lead the returning cast of Fast & Furious 7. James Wan directs this chapter of the hugely successful series that also welcomes back favorites Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Elsa Pataky and Lucas Black. They are joined by international action stars new to the franchise including Jason Statham, Djimon Hounsou, Tony Jaa, Ronda Rousey and Kurt Russell. Neal H. Moritz, Vin Diesel and Michael Fottrell return to produce the film written by Chris Morgan.
Furious7 opens everywhere on April 3 and I wish that was tomorrow.
